ABOUT KV JAGDISHPUR READING CLUB

The Reading Club is a dynamic new initiative to foster a deep-rooted love for literature among our students. Our mission is to transform reading from a solitary activity into a shared journey of discovery. The club provides a vibrant platform for young bibliophiles to interact, share ideas, expand their vocabulary, and explore diverse genres beyond their academic curriculum.

ELIGIBILITY & MEMBERSHIP

Who can join?

Exclusively for students from Class VI to XII.
A genuine interest in reading books and exploring new stories.
Willingness to actively participate in all club events.

CLUB ACTIVITIES & COMPETITIONS

Members of the Reading Club will engage in an exciting array of events designed to enhance their literary skills:

Monthly Book Discussions: Round-table discussions on selected themes and favorite books.
Book Review Writing: Enhancing critical thinking by writing and presenting insightful book reviews.
Literary Quizzes & Debates: Inter-house trivia on classic literature and trending fiction.
Creative Storytelling & Recitation: Competitions focusing on expression, enunciation, and confidence.
Book Jacket Designing: Unleashing creativity by redesigning covers of famous books.

AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS

Outstanding contributions and passion for reading will be celebrated with the following prestigious awards at the end of the academic session:

Best Reader of the Year Award: Awarded to the student who enthusiastically reads and logs the highest number of books.
Best Book Review Award: For the most critically acclaimed and well-articulated book review submitted during the session.
Other Prizes: Certificates and special gifts for winners of quizzes, storytelling, and design competitions.
